All outgoing emails are currently being suspended while we investigate an issue. We are in contact with our email provider (SendGrid) to solve the issue as quickly as possible.
UPDATE: Between 26/08/2025 and 27/08/2025 a bad actor sent out phishing emails via Peepl to their own mailing list via a free trial account, using a series of features such as email template customization and password resets, which caused our Email Service Provider to temporarily suspend our account.
The bad actor has since been blocked, their IP was reported to the authorities and the necessary changes have been made to prevent this type of abuse in the future. We're sorry for any inconvenience that was caused due to this attack.
It's important to note that this was not a hack, merely a "clever" use of our powerful customization features. No data was compromised.
